Bua Thong Creme

There are many known herbal plants in the remote villages which have been traditionally used as natural remedies among the hill tribes for many generations.

The climate of the high lands in Northern Thailand provides excellent conditions for many plants. The Bua Tong Flower is a tropical version of the Calendula which grows naturally and  can be seen covering entire hill sides when it blooms. The active ingredients of the Calendula flower provide a remedy for all kind of skin problems.

For example:

- insect bites like bee stings,
- treatment of minor wounds and cuts,
- bruises and burns,
- minor skin infections and dry skin,
- skin rashes,
- skin swelling and sunburn,
- etc.

The local villagers collect and dry the flowers and we process the flowers into a herbal crème at our Foundation center.
